Great Gift for Moms : Coby DP862 8-Inch Digital Picture Frame Wooden
Well I bought two of the contemporary make frames 4 months ago from amazon, but trough a friend. It's perfect.
One was for my grandma, the other for my mother. My grandma is constantly switching it on and off to "preserve it", my mother has it on 24/7 (till now 4 months 24/7)
1. make - it's great, the curves make it different from the others, the screen is big enough and very clear - 5/5
2. Price - when I bought it, it was nearby 55$, now it's 59$. It's uncostly - I would give it - 4.5/5
3. Endurance - the screen comes with a protective layer - be sure to remove it before use. It may appear scratched, one of mine did - but it was only the protective layer. Other then that - one of my frames is running for 4 months now, with only tree pauses to add content to the sdcard. Great! - 5/5
4. Usability - the Ui is horrible on first use. indeed I got frustrated when I first used it - it was not very intuitive. But on the second and third try you get used to it. Surprisingly my grandma got it from the start and hadn't asked me a single ask how to handle it. And she even doesn't know English, or have any computer or electronic skills. - 4/5
That said there are some things you should be clear about - it only works plugged to the electricity and the by hand says it doesn't support Sdhc memory cards. Oddly the 4Gb one offered from amazon works and I have both of my frames working with it.
In conclusion this is a very good product and I love it.
